Running to Recovery
Tara was a carefree 23 year old more concerned with friends and boys than any ambition for her life. Then a car accident shattered her body, taking away one of her legs and leaving her with injuries from which doctors did not anticipate she would recover. But for Tara, the most devastating injury was to her self-image. One day she met an amputee who was an athlete, a runner, and she finally woke up to the idea that there might be something more out there for her.
